My first time Trick or Treating was pretty lucrative. I started at the Platt's and ended at my cousin Mickey's house. The village of Wappingers was a pretty good sweet spot of candy.

Mommy's Music or Daddy's Music?

I really like to listen to music...and I love to dance. Problem is that I am influenced by parents that have very different taste in music.

There are a few 'lowest common denominator' bands that they both like: U2, Kings of Leon, etc.

For the most part, Dad is pretty stuck in the '70's. Especially black musicians - Reggae, Jimi, Funk and Soul.

Mom tries really hard to have hipster cred - even at her advanced maternal age.

We had a fabulous visit with Andres & his baby brother, Evan.

Happy Birthday Mickey!!!!

My cousin Mickey had his 2nd birthday party this weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Kiernan's house. They went all out! There was a petting zoo and pony rides and a face-painter and jumpy things and pinata's! Makes me wonder...where is MY BIRTHDAY PARTY MOMMY???

Anyway - I was a really good girl that day. And Mickey was a really good boy. It was a fabulous time. I had so much fun that I passed out from exhaustion that night.

Mommy and Daddy get me to do things by giving me lollipops. I think it's called bribery.

And yes, that is an open bottle of Simi next to me. I guess Mommy isnt pregnant yet.
