My Last Blog Post

Well apparently it's not all about me anymore. I'm about to have a baby sister and I'll need to start sharing the lime-light. I have been practicing so much lately - with Baby Jakob and then with Baby Sadie and I think I'm ready to be an excellent big sister. So much is changing. Mommy stopped working (for now), I'm in a new school, and I have a new bedroom.

Summer Fun - Part 3

I started ballet. It's only a five week program - we'll have to see if I am really into it or not before mom commits to something more. We are hoping that my teacher (miss Vivienne) can teach me grace. Lord knows mom and dad can't.

Mommy took me to the zoo even though she's 8 months pregnant and it was a gazillion degrees out. My favorite was the butterfly garden.

I LOVE DADDY

Happy Father's Day! I have best Daddy in the whole world.

He lets me help with his garden. He picks flowers for me. He plays Candyland with me. He takes care of me when I hurt myself. He makes brushing my teeth fun. He stays with me when I am scared at night. He buys me the prettiest dresses. He always makes me feel special & beautiful. He is also going to help me get Swiper to stop swiping.

Surf is not up...

Because we are at a little lake. But Mommy is going to take me to the "beach with big waves" soon. Hopefully Daddy can come too.

We are having a good summer so far. I change schools soon and I really cant wait. I'm getting very tired of my long commute.

Mommy's belly is super huge. And I talk to the baby all the time. I have to let her know who is boss before she gets here.

Life with a bounce house

My Grandpa Joe gets me a bouncy house every year for our big BBQ. Since my birthday is during the December holidays - I never get a good birthday party. So I pretend that our May BBQ is for my birthday.

This is me with my cousins from PA (Joseph and Nathan). We also had many people come up from NYC. There were about 30 kids!

We only see each other once or twice a year - but man do we have fun. Nathan and Joseph came to our annual BBQ and they slept over too. We had a blast.

Finally...

Mommy finally took me out to play. She was buried in work for like 10 hours. But I bugged her enough - she finally took me out to play hopscotch.

I told her to stop playing though. I was afraid baby Morgan would fall out of her.

Annabelle's 2nd Birthday Party

Blowing Bubbles

I can barely keep up with my blog these days. Just way too much going on. Mommy and Daddy are so busy at work lately. Plus we had to tear up our entire basement because of a little problem with the boiler and we have to get my new bedroom ready.

I am going to get a purple carpet for my new bedroom. And a princess bed. I have to move out of my bedroom to make room for the new baby. It's a baby girl. And even though her name will be Morgan, I will call her Marabelle.

I am also very busy with my art. I am an amazing artist. Mommy will have to help me scan a picture so that we can post it here.

Grandma and Grandpa are finally home from Florida - I cant wait to see them on Saturday. It's their 40th Anniversary!!

Had a Ball at the Goog

Mommy took me to work yesterday as part of "bring your kids to work day".

We read a book called Pouch...with the author - who showed us how he drew the pictures. Then we got to see a real kangaroo!

Daddy came for lunch. And then I painted a pot - we filled it with dirt, fertilizer and pea seeds.

Then I played on the slide for a while, til I got hurt (yes Mommy's office has a slide in it) and then we went home.

Face Painters

Thanks to Caden's grandpa - we finally have food in the neighborhood. There is a noodle shop, a pizza place, and soon - a deli! Since we live 10 miles from nearest grocery store - you can imagine how excited we are.

There was a big Grand Opening last weekend and I got my face painted - I wanted pink flowers and I got them.

Best Friends

Though I am very excited to go to my new school in August - I will be so sad to say goodbye to my two best friends. Sydney (in red) and Tabby (in purple) have been my schoolmates for three years! I cant wait to see them every Monday.

I hope that I can still see them sometimes on the weekends. Maybe we can meet at the zoo!!

Pioneers

Three nights with no power. It sort of sucked ass. We pioneered it through the first night. Dad had an awesome fire going so the house was warm. And mom managed to cook some stuff between the grill and the wood burning stove. But we had no water...and at a certain point...you need the water.

Checked in to a hotel on Friday. We were not alone - all of Putnam and Dutchess county were also at the hotel...with their dogs and everything. Of course hotel was sold out next night so we had to move hotels. Traveling caravan not knowing where we are going to sleep from one night to the next. Not fun.

Mommy just burst into tears yesterday. She has a ton of work to do - but has been having a hard time b/c I have literally been up her butt for four days.

We finally got home last night. And then we threw out hundreds of dollars of food.

Is Mommy Crazy?

So we might be getting a drum set for me. Daddy plays drums and has a big boy drum set - but we were looking at little girl drum sets last week.

Of course we'd be setting up in the room over the garage.

More kids to boss around...

I am going to have a new cousin in July. I cant wait to meet baby-girl Kiernan. Also - I am going to be a big sister in September.

To Mickey

We went to Disney World and it was AMAZING! I had breakfast with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto. And...I met all the princesses at another breakfast in Cinderella's castle! I want to go back again soon. And I want to ride on the "doll ride" which is "Small World" again.

From Mickey...

Mickey slept over our house and we had so much fun. We played with money all day long. We love money and we want more money. Money makes us happy.

New Year's Day

We went to Mamoo & Papoo's house for New Year's Day. We all got matching sweat shirts from New England College (where Papoo went!)

New Year's Eve - Sleepover

Adriana slept over on New Year's Eve and we stayed up til after midnight. We were going to sleep in the living room but we both wound up in our parents' beds.
